I believe three key elements make our Code of Business Ethics a success. First, the owners and management team at STR set the tone for the company. We take our core values seriously, and expect others to follow suit. Second, our hiring process is rigorous, and we retain employees whose ethical standards are in harmony with ours. Third, we seek out contractors and suppliers that share our vision for integrity and ethics.

As a company, STR works diligently every day to make the world a better place. Whether we are ensuring safer and higher quality products, creating better working conditions and fair wages for employees, or helping to develop solar energy as an alternative green energy source, we strive to be the best at what we do and how we do it.

Questions of ethical behavior in the workplace are complex, and a Code of Business Ethics cannot address every situation. With that in mind, we go beyond our Code and apply a simple, common-sense test to every situation: Can I stand behind the decision I’m making?
